One day the kingdom of the peaceful Mushroom people was invaded by Koopa, a tribe of turtles famous for their black magic. The quiet and peaceful Mushroom people were turned into simple stones, bricks and even plants and the Mushroom Kingdom fell into ruin. The only one who could undo this magical spell on the Mushroom people and return them to normal is Princess Peach, the daughter of the Mushroom King. Unfortunately she is in the hands of Bowser, the king of the Koopas. Mario learns of the plight of the Mushroom People and embarks on an adventure to free the princess from the evil Koopa and restore the fallen kingdom of the Mushroom People. You are Mario! It will be up to you to rescue the Mushroom people from Koopa's black magic!
